In 2020, we will explore Nutrition and Food Literacy at all life stages, Food Policy, Public Health, Community Nutrition, Food Insecurity, Plant forward menus & Food Choices, Nutrition misinformation, Canada’s Food Guide, Youth, cooking classes, Cultural diversity in food literacy.


Ambition Nutrition is a regular symposium hosted by George Brown College: Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts.

In the past, academic professionals, dietitians, culinary experts, and industry leaders have attended the interactive day filled with discussions, workshops and presentations. The symposium focuses on nutrition in theory and practice, examining the gaps and opportunities that exist between research, education, nutrition, diet, and culinary arts.


The vision behind the event is to “To invest in a future of health by bridging the gap between research, education, diet and the culinary arts.”

Our next symposium will take place in 2020.
